As much as I rely on Claude Code while managing home lab and writing code for DIY projects, coding agents never meet the media’s perception of AI: “slaves to logic” as I, Robot has put it. Agents hallucinate, make mistakes and take them back, and more often than not, their output is a wall of text that is completely out of order. For Claude, the recent models print more than their predecessors.

Fable 5 Now Included in Max Subscription
Fable 5 saga is finally coming to an end with Anthropic deciding to include the flagship model in Max. Since I am on Max tier for this month temporarily, the announcement is disappointing in two ways: a. Fable won’t be available on a similar price tier as GPT 5.6 Sol, and b. Fable is simply too inefficient when it comes to token counts compared to Sol. Whichever way you cut it, you can get a better deal from Codex.

As a home baker, one of the most frequent accusations thrown at content creators I see — gadget reviewers, recipe authors, or just plainly writing about baking experiences — is their transparency: ties to the manufacturer, ties to the brands, ties to the producers, and so on. It boils down to a simple question — whether or not the content was sponsored behind the scenes. Those were the problems we had with human content creators with legal liability, not AI giants with an army of lawyers.

It has been nearly a year since I wrote about app spamming, in particular, ChatGPT-like apps. Many of them simply used ChatGPT and charged extra to the end users who didn’t know it wasn’t from the official developer. Their icons were often nearly identical to OpenAI’s, and dare I say, deliberately designed to be confused with the original.

After the whole debacle I had with Zadok the Priest on the previous post, I received some spams suggesting I should subscribe to their pro or plus models. I take it my search had used up most of free queries I had for the day. As far as I know, neither Google nor OpenAI openly publish the limit of their respective free tiers. ChatGPT, App Spamming, and App Store
iOS App Store has problems. I’m not talking about new EU regulations, or the lawsuits against Epic, or even 30% Apple tax on all apps. I’m talking about ChatGPT. With all the media attention to the new AI tech, both major app stores, Apple’s and Google’s, are plagued with unofficial ChatGPT apps. Have you checked the App Store recently? There is no way of telling which supposed ChatGPT app is from OpenAI.
