App to Find Tmux Key Shortcuts and Commands

Many CLI-based apps on Unix-like ecosystem tends to have long keyboard shortcuts list; it also means being an experienced user in these worlds come with some tall orders. Personally, I think vim and tmux are the prime examples of being useful if all the keys are etched to your muscle memory. For mere mortals like myself, they offer fascinating opportunity but with the most weird of key combinations at times.

Today’s topic is tmux. And there is a website dedicated to list most commonly used key shortcuts and commands. It’s also searchable — you can look it up either by the function or the shortcut. I’m not entirely sure if this is the all of the sets of commands available for latest version of tmux.

One of the how-to I had written already covered adding a custom shortcut. Depending on how customized your tmux is, for the obvious reasons, the website won’t be enough. But it is a quick refresher if you need one. Every now and then, I do end up on the site as I loaded up an old save from a video game I had stopped playing.
