App to Manage Multiple Tabs on Firefox
I suppose each developers have their own basic browsers to fallback to. If it works on this browser, it’s likely going to run on all browser. My go-to browser, especially for apps that offer web UI, is Firefox. Part of the reason why I haven’t moved to Chrome — aside from the usual memory jokes — is the reliability of the platform Firefox offers. Albeit not perfect, it has some level of reliability.
FoxyTab is a tab manager extension for Firefox. It has features from bookmarks to save as PDF. But ones I recommend looking into are copying URL of multiple tabs at once. I have several personal scripts that take URL as inputs, (and no doubt there are other softwares just like it) but copying them one at a time can be a tedious task.
Firefox is my multi-tool in pretty much anything web-based, though again, running too many extensions concurrently are not recommended. I usually keep the ones I use infrequently disabled for the sake of conserving resources. The more practical issue behind running too many extensions has to do with maintenance and support. Not all projects are always seeing active development, and many end up being abandoned then picked up by another developer.
