This is a quick announcement for anyone who read my MS Sculpt Keyboard posts. I’ve been made aware ControllerMate does not work with Catalina in current version. Unfortunately, circumstances surrounding the app seem to suggest the developers either do not have a specific time table to support Catalina or do not plan to support Catalina.

Duskers Quicksaver Housekeeping Update
I am yet to finish Duskers, the sci-fi survival game where you must survive using nothing but your drones to scavenge other, hopefully abandoned willfully, ships. General atmosphere of the game resembles much of Alien franchise, where computers so ancient are running probably most sophisticated programs ever written known to mankind.
FTL:Faster Than Light Quicksaver Housekeeping Update
FTL now has a spiritual sequel from Subset Games. It’s been beautiful 9 years of random encounters since its release, and I still play it just for old times sake. It almost reminds me of SkiFree or Minesweeper.
File Not Found Error on macOS wfsctl
Apple has been consistently phasing out Server related apps and services. Some of them have been moved around to macOS, while the others are either killed off or been moved as an embedded feature. WebDAV was one of them. If you are so inclined, macOS can now handle WebDAV hosting without the Server app from Apple. But be warned, no GUI support.
Running Time Machine Backup Server on macOS
Time Machine backup is a MUST in this time and age, especially after you just paid couple thousands in Mac. Ultimately, no matter how ridiculous issue you just encountered on your machine, if you have a complete backup of the system, there should be no concern. I can’t believe I have to say this in 2019, Time Machine has been around since Leopard, and still provides better options than of its competitors. Make sure you are using a separate drive (e.g. external HDD, NAS) that is at least 1.5 times bigger than the target drive.
Retrieving Old or Deleted Safari Reading List Archives
One of the bad habits of older social websites are its insatiable inclination toward censorship. And I do not say this lightly. Seeing several of these of these websites, well older than Mad Tea Party, supposedly losing either a thread or a post after few hours is simply not acceptable in this time and age. First and foremost feature of any advanced platform should be the utilization of information technologies, the power to write information —which would have taken decades in handwriting— in matters of milliseconds and store them properly.

Calling out on Galaxy Fold debacle as “graded on a curve” apparently was an understatement. It is time to face the ugly truth. Samsung already has a bad track record, and none of the reviewers had gull to question the product in their hand. These pre-launch reviews that had been published prior to the issue treated the smartphone as though it is a holy relic. Had it not been for the delay, these articles would have been nothing but praises from untrained eyes for a product that is essentially a bomb waiting to go off.

Avengers: Endgame Review
I was never a big fan of MCU’s style. Its gunning as hard as it can in comic book heroism behavior never grew on me. Just take Captain America: Civil War, the movie which sets off the events leading up to the Endgame. The villain’s plan made no sense. It had no “why” or “how” in its explanation. Zemo’s rationale sounded more insane than the entirety of Matrix sequels. If Agent Smith from Matrix confronted Neo with a long narration explaining his secret backstory just to fight for few shots, no one would want Wachowskis’ next movie.

Remember the days before iOS? In 2010, Apple finally rebranded its iPhone OS to iOS, making it the first non-Mac OS Apple had released. The significance of the iPhone manufacturer’s rebranding comes not from its shoddy name, but rather its date: 2010. In 2010, smartphone phone factors started to see consolidations. Google was releasing its own share of “standard” smartphones in the name of Nexus, and so for coming 8 to 9 years, we had a bar-type full touchscreen phone as a de facto smartphone.

Arabesque has been shipped with macOS for quite awhile now, making it one of graphical default screensavers. What Apple seems to dismiss, however, is that they did not update their lines of screensavers since High Sierra.
